INGREDIENTS
• Whole chicken with skin : 4 numbers• Onion : 3 medium sized
• Ginger : 1 inch piece
• Garlic : 8 pieces/cloves
• Green Chilly : 4 numbers
• Tomato : 4 numbers
• Curd : Half liter
• Lemon extract : 2 squeezed lemon juice
• Salt , Pepper : As needed(if you need more spicy Alfaham add more pepper based on your wish and taste)
• Pavizham oils sunflower oil in kerala: 2 table spoon
• Arabic Masala : 2 table spoon
For Arabic Masala preparation
• 1 cup cumin seeds• 1 cup fennel seeds
• 1 cup cinnamon sticks
• 1 cup coriander seeds
• 1/2 cup pepper corns
• 1/4 cup dried whole red chillies
• 1/2 cup turmeric powder
Preparation of Arabian Al faham Chicken
1. Divide each chicken lengthwise into two pieces using a knife.
2. Blend the ingredients Onion, Ginger, Garlic, Green chilly, and tomato into a fine paste.
3. Mix the curd, lemon extract, Arabic masala, salt, pepper powder and paizham oils sunflower oil in kerala .
4. Mix the 3rd and 2nd paste together.
5. Spread this paste over the chicken pieces thoroughly and keep it for 2-4 hours.
6. Grill it and serve hot alfaham with Khuboos, Appam and Idiyappam .
